I made a Mini Book!!
Over the past few months I’ve been working on a small black-and-white photo project documenting the process of moving our office and studio.

Rather than treating the move as simply practical, I began photographing the strange beauty that appears during transition — stacked boxes, dismantled shelves, isolated objects, empty corners, and the quiet atmosphere that exists when a creative space is slowly disappearing.

As part of the project, I decided to hand-make a miniature photo book using the images I’ve been taking along the way. The entire book is printed in black and white and focuses solely on this move — a visual diary of change, memory, clutter, and creativity in motion.

What surprised me most was just how enjoyable the process became. Making the little book by hand reminded me how satisfying physical photography can still feel in a digital age. Folding pages, arranging sequences, testing image combinations, and watching the story slowly emerge was every bit as rewarding as taking the photographs themselves.

I’ll soon be posting a separate “how-to” blog entry showing exactly how I made the miniature book from start to finish for anyone who would like to try creating one themselves.
